An absolutely epic book of epic proportions, designed to capture equally epic journeys, ideas or stories. Whether written, sketched, painted or collated, this A3 handcrafted leather journal is more than just a book, it's a creative statement.

Custom made to order, it's ideal as a sketchbook, presentation/portfolio or giant display 

Several clients have used it specifically to document their research and development work for their creative MA courses.

- Leather cover approx 32cmx 43cm or 12.5" x 17"
-Paper 42cm x 29.7cm

LEATHER COVER: Made from a waxy pull up leather that marks beautifully and just gets better with use and wear.
- with a self leather wraparound tie.

PAPER QUALITY CHOICE: 

  • 100gsm brown kraft paper OR
  • 160gsm acid free cartrdige paper

PAGE COUNT CHOICE:
72 pages/144 sides - As per Indigo Blue listing photo

The higher the page count, the chunkier the spine will be.

Custom page counts can be done if you wish to discuss beforehand.

BINDING: Traditionally crafted, the pages are stitched into the leather cover by hand using a long stitch binding with waxed Irish linen thread.

CUSTOM MONOGRAM ADD ON:
-Choose this option to have initials hand stitched onto the right hand corner of the leather cover by selecting the appropriate option from the drop down menu.
-Your monogram will be stitched using the same thread colour as used on the binding on the spine of the journal.

You may also wish to have something more custom stitched onto the cover like the 'Make a wish' example in the listing photos.

Leather

As leather is a natural material, please be aware that there may be natural marks and scars and so each piece will vary slightly from the images shown. These are not faults but a beautiful part of this natural material and as each piece is a unique individually hand crafted item, no 2 will be exactly the same.
