This handcrafted leather journal includes pages made from a vintage world map as well as a saddle stitched large pocket at the front to slip in loose notes or ticket stubs and a 2-3 card slot pocket at the back. It has upto 144 pages of blank cartridge paper hand stitched directly into the leather with Irish linen thread and a wraparound leather tie. The perfect travel companion for an intrepid traveller and can be custom made to your requirements if you want a different size or pocket configuration, contact me to discuss.

- Leather cover approx 11.5cm x 15.5cm or 4.5" x 6.1"
- Paper inside approx 10.5cm x 14.8cm or 4.1 x 5.8"

- Leather cover measures approx 15.5cm x 22cm or 6" x 9"
-Paper inside is 14.5cm x 21cm or 6 x 8”

PAPER: 160gsm blank acid free blank cartridge paper perfect for dry or wet media or simply just for writing.

-Map pages cut from a vintage map of the world.

PAGE COUNT OPTIONS:

  • -72 pages 144 sides - single stitched spine
  • -96 pages/192 sides - single stitched spine
  • -96 pages/192 sides - double stitched spine
  • -144pages/288 sides - double stitched spine

BINDING: Pages stitched into the leather cover by hand using a long stitch binding with waxed Irish linen thread.

COVER: Waxy pull up leather that just gets better with use and wear with a self leather wraparound tie.

- Hand saddle stitched self leather secretarial pocket slot on left side of cover to slip in notes or loose paper and 3 card slots on right side 

CUSTOM MONOGRAM ADD ON:
-Initials can be hand stitched onto the right hand corner of the leather cover by selecting the appropriate option from the drop down menu.
-Your monogram will be stitched using the same thread colour as used on the binding on the spine of the journal.

As leather is a natural material, please be aware that there may be natural marks and scars and so each piece will vary slightly from the images shown. These are not faults but a beautiful part of this natural material and as each piece is a unique individually hand crafted item, no 2 will be exactly the same.
